Company fixed the issue and I have been provided with apology. Air Europe but with out any contribution I lost several business meetings

Customer service has been a nightmare to deal with
So I bought airline tickets to meet up with my mom in Europe for vacation. My airline was air Europa and my moms airline was Lufthansa.
Both airlines lost our luggage which of course really sucks. But trying to get in contact with air Europa was a living nightmare. Their customer service is a negative 5. They would hang up on me, I can't count the times they hung up on me.
But I'm persistent. They had no idea where my luggage was and told me" ahhh it could take weeks if the luggage is found" this was the second day without luggage, ( I had no clothes, going commando) and I had booked excursions everyday that I didn't want to miss so giving that info I bought a small wardrobe and a couple of necessities. Fortunately my luggage arrived at my hotel the next day but they gave me no info that they had found it is I wouldn't have bought the clothes I bought which took up all the extra room in my luggage I had saved for souvenirs. Anyways the airline said they would cover a portion of my expenses but trying to get a hold of someone to figure that out has been a nightmare and when I did send my receipts in.
They sent me an email back in Spanish which made it difficult to understand but they stated I sent my receipts in too late past the 21 days (in reality it was around 20days...really?!?!). But now having to re-call them and of course I have already been hung up on multiple times. So not worth ever dealing with this airline again.
My moms luggage was lost by Lufthansa and they knew where the luggage was. It did take a couple of days longer to get if but their customer service was so much more helpful and kind.
They never hung up the phone on us. They were informative about where the luggage was in transit and were willing to compensate for what we had to buy . I would definite fly them again.
But KLM/Air Europa a BIG NO. I had the worst customer service experience out of any customer experience I have ever had to deal with.
