Charged $68 for an external agency to correct Air Europas computer problem. AE rep told it would be $2 and told me they would refund me. One week later and no refund. Very hard to get a hold of somebody. Do not sign up for just answer Its not two dollars!!

Purchased economy tickets from Bogota to Madrid Spain for two. Also bought the emergency row seats for extra legroom ( 10.5 hour flight) The day of the flight I received a Buisness Class immediate upgrade for 1,450.00 USD I make the purchase and I arrive to check in luggage. Im assuming I will be able to check 2 bags per person since Ive spent the money to go buisness class. Instead they charged my card another 950.00 usd. I almost lost it. Abusive to say the least I forsake my return travel with them ( they did not give me a refund either) I purchased buisness class on Avianca and the difference of food service and accommodation on buisness was superior by far. So I bought airline tickets to meet up with my mom in Europe for vacation. My airline was air Europa and my moms airline was Lufthansa.

Both airlines lost our luggage which of course really sucks. But trying to get in contact with air Europa was a living nightmare. Their customer service is a negative 5. They would hang up on me, I can't count the times they hung up on me.

But I'm persistent. They had no idea where my luggage was and told me" ahhh it could take weeks if the luggage is found" this was the second day without luggage, ( I had no clothes, going commando) and I had booked excursions everyday that I didn't want to miss so giving that info I bought a small wardrobe and a couple of necessities. Fortunately my luggage arrived at my hotel the next day but they gave me no info that they had found it is I wouldn't have bought the clothes I bought which took up all the extra room in my luggage I had saved for souvenirs. Anyways the airline said they would cover a portion of my expenses but trying to get a hold of someone to figure that out has been a nightmare and when I did send my receipts in.

They sent me an email back in Spanish which made it difficult to understand but they stated I sent my receipts in too late past the 21 days (in reality it was around 20days...really?!?!). But now having to re-call them and of course I have already been hung up on multiple times. So not worth ever dealing with this airline again.

My moms luggage was lost by Lufthansa and they knew where the luggage was. It did take a couple of days longer to get if but their customer service was so much more helpful and kind.

They never hung up the phone on us. They were informative about where the luggage was in transit and were willing to compensate for what we had to buy . I would definite fly them again.

But KLM/Air Europa a BIG NO. I had the worst customer service experience out of any customer experience I have ever had to deal with.

I was traveling from Madrid to Miami Florida and I lost my last my luggage in Miami event today from September 3, 2022. I never received my luggage or ever heard anything from anybody and I file all the police for lost luggage and my contact case is PP221101 and a police officer, Mr. Rodriguez, the sergeant.

Changing flight

I bought a ticket from Air Europa from Amsterdam to Santo Domingo and vice versa. But KLM canceled the flight back from Madrid to Amsterdam. They gave me a ticket through New York to Amsterdam on the same date.But I can not complete this flight because I am not vaccinated. I asked that before rebooking. KLM said there was no problem but then I found out I couldn't fly back this way. Now they can't change my flight as they say it was originally issued by Air Europa, But Air Europa said KLM issued the ticket, while the booking is still on their site. So none of the two won't change the flight. Now I am pissed off of course! This is no style. I want to make a complaint against this company. And a juridical procedure too.

Not able to change my ticket

It is unbelievable that Air Europe can not change my flight to Amsterdam.First I got a cancellation of the flight from Madrid to Amsterdam, then I got a new flight from KLM through New York, which I can not complete because I am NOT vaccinated, Now neither Air Europa neither KLM can change my flight. This is absurd and I will take measures!

Lost suitcase

Worst airline ever. I flew to visit my family for the holidays to Spain and my luggage got lost and was never found. I have made multiple calls and sent emails and I still have not gotten any answer. It has been 16 days since I flew with them and still waiting for someone to resolve the missing luggage inconvenience. Air Europa ruined my vacation since that was the only suitcase I had travel with and had all my family Christmas presents. So disappointed. Please be aware and think twice to book a flight with air Europa.

Still awaiting a £250 refund on a cancelled flight in March 2020. I was offered gift vouchers which I didnt want obviously because I paid in £. Then was told Id have to wait to a full year to get the gv converted in to £, After reaching g stress levels that cant be explained I was sent an email to claim back my £ in November. Still waiting for their instructions. Robbery at its finest.

I lost my fly for problem whit spirit and don't have a chance to be charged the girls tell me it's no my problem you have to pay a new ticket...and now tank air europa I'm block in Miami whit out money because it's expensive to rent I pay 110 for night and in 2 days o finish my money and I have to leave on the street whit my small dog thank Air Europa...just I want to be back on home. I booked a flight from Australia to Spain, not having much choice available if I wanted to spend as little time as possible in plains and airports. The flight on offer was only 26h15min. There was a cheaper flight (by few hundred dollars) on offer, but lasted almost 30hrs. Only hours after we purchased the tickets we received our proof of payment and confirmation, followed by another email telling us that the flight was now changed to the cheapest and longest lasting flight. The flight I booked and paid for simply disappeared within few hours... Please note that this flight is 13 weeks away!!! Contacting Air Europa was next to impossible. Any means of contact was re-directed back to the acting agent - Booking.com. In talking to Booking.com centre (located overseas), I was told that if I want to apply changes to my flight, I need to pay additional "penalty" charges?! As I mentioned above, this flight is 13 weeks away and I'm very curious to find if there'll be more changes coming our way... In future, unless I'm stuck in a remote place with no other means of transportation and in a life threatening situation, Air Europa would not be my personal choice.
